Accessibility & Barriers
Sensory barriers:
Olga is located on the busy Charlottenstraße, with cars and trams passing by. The space is generally rather dark than bright, and consists of one room, a bar area (3 steps), and two toilet rooms in the back (3 steps). The walls are covered with stickers, smaller posters, and individual flags. There is music at a moderate volume; the genre depends on the person working behind the bar.
Accessibility barriers:
Olga can be accessed via a mobile ramp. Inside the bar room, a ramp can be extended to access the bar area (small turning radius at the top, not suitable for power wheelchairs). There is a separate entrance to a ground-level toilet. This toilet is not wheelchair-accessible (turning radius and door width), but it is larger and therefore suitable for people with limited mobility who do not rely on large mobility aids.
Additional information:
There is a ventilation system on site, but no special air filter for pathogens.
